URSA XPS is an ideal product for technically challenging applications like perimeter (foundations) and inverted flat roofs, because it exclusively combines:
The old models of URSA HR will be replaced with the new environmentally compliant URSA HR31.
From 1st January 2019 onwards, URSA will phase out the use of all HFC blowing agents in XPS. They will be replaced with HFO blowing agents which are designed for low global warming potential (GWPs). HFOs only have atmospheric lifetime OF WEEKS rather than years or decades.
In a typical tropical concrete flat roof formation, 50mm of HR31 inserted into the roof system will continue to provide a Thermal Insulation of Uvalue < 0.6 W/m2K in accordance with MS 1525:2014; Heavy roof (above 50kg/m2)
